    B7001 fan/alternator belt UK

Anyone know where (UK) I can source a fan belt for a 1980s B7001? Or anyone have the dimensions so I can order one that way? Many thanks.

best bits & worse bits about your orange friend.

Not been on here for months because of the floods around here; our orchards were under water for weeks. Thankfully it didn't get into the tractor shed, but the B7001 was sat up for seven months. Tried to start it for the first time today, checked oil, water, replaced charged battery - on the...

    Kubota B7100 difficult start

Perfectly normal, for my mid 80s B7001 at least. Lots of smoke but never fails to start, and no smoke after that. On cool days I have to use pre-heat even after stopping for only 15-20 mins, but again it never lets me down. I do worry I'm flattening the battery with 60seconds pre-heat so I...

    Clutch Pedal

I agree, they replaced the clutch so they should hand it back with the clutch working properly. It's too much of a coincidence to say you caused the damage after it came back (in perfect working order)

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Yesterday, started her for the first time since September! Weather's been so crap here for so long there was no way I could travel on our orchards. Kept the battery charged up over winter, finally decided to do some light trailer work (log hauling) so had a go. The little beauty started on the...

    please help!

It probably doesn't help, but the B1400 is listed in model catalogues for 'genuine' Kubota tractors, and can be found in lists of grey market Kubotas.

Operating B7100 with a worn clutch

Thanks. Steering box fluid change isn't mentioned in the owner's manual I have for the B7100. Fortunately I managed to get the workshop manual and you can work it out from there. Damn, I thought I'd finished :(

    bush hog blade sharpening

I've got a bush hog and don't want to invest in another machine, so if the blades are sharpened a little will they cut grass better? I need to cut brambles and then the grasses etc that hopefully grow in their place.

Is this B7100 not what is seems?

Andrew Wilkins is a trader, I believe, I came across them when I was looking for a Kubby. That machine is, apart from the front side lights, virtually identical to my B7001 which I believe is mid-80s. Have to confess I paid almost that amount for mine, with a heavy duty topper, (was advertised...

what year is my grey market

OK, so I came across this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TH5wMEJeOf0&NR=1&feature=endscreen Posted 2010 I think ? So are B7001s still being made? I assumed production started and stopped in the 80s.
