    3 point sprayer

My 60 gallon fimco sprayer doesn't have bolts like that, it uses some sort of clamping system. I have really no complaints with mine. The biggest thing is to always flush the pump out and store it with some sort of oil or rv antifreeze in it, and if you have the type that recirculates then...

    Brush hog boom

I've been looking at the Lane Shark products pretty heavily the last week or so. No way I could buy one now, but just dreaming right now. While the larger model requires a 3,000 lb tractor and 8.5 GPM, the smaller one only requires a 2,000 lb tractor and 5 GPM. Maybe one day I can get one.

    Gas Trucks MPG

VVT and AFM are two different things. AFM turns off 4 cylinders when the power isn't needed. Don't know exactly why but the oil is burned. A tech told me it's because the oil builds up in the cold off cylinders then is burned when they are turned back on. Mine started about 30k or 40k miles...

    Ballast?

I bet we bought from the same dealer. There was some delays with my tractor getting the backhoe subframe and then the parts for the rear remotes were back ordered so they sent my tractor incomplete, then came out and added the rear remotes. I was prepping to fill my tires the next weekend when...

    R-4 or R-1(Ag) for Plowing w/L2501

Tordon RTU on the fresh cut stump of honey locust will eliminate them. If you've got too many for that, cut them off however you can, then when they get their new leaves broadcast spray a mixture of glyphosate (roundup) and 2,4-d (brush killer). I wouldn't plow that, it just brings up more...

    Gas Trucks MPG

Don't go with the Chevy 1500 with Active Fuel Management either unless you like adding 2 quarts of oil between oil changes.

Kubota L35 rear end gear discontinued part 32751-15122

I've never ordered anything from Coleman but I've tried to order several IH parts from Messicks listed with similar lead times that came back as unavailable.

    Roading A Tractor

When I started high school, there was a saying about who has the right of way if a fire truck, ambulance, police car, and mail truck all get to a 4 way stop at the exact same time. The answer was the mail truck, because it's a federal government vehicle.

    Trying to buy an L4701

When I applied the sales guy entered everything in the computer and had an answer within minutes. At first I was denied, something along the lines of not having history with a loan that size. Well I had my truck, but it had been paid off for several years, and I'm still paying my student...

    L4701 intermittent shuts down

Shuts off like the key is turned off, or stumbles then shuts off like running out of fuel? Hopefully it's not the ECU, but that should be a warranty replacement if it is since you've had it in during the warranty period for that issue. Could it be you're moving in the seat enough for the seat...

    Dang plastic grill

That looks nice and all, but how are you going to fold the grill guard when you need to open the hood?

    L3400 Safety Switch Issue

    Sounds like the seat switch.

    L3400 Transmisson Hydraulic seepage noticed

That looks like a clutch housing drain, for draining moisture from the clutch housing should any accumulate there. Are you sure it's hydraulic fluid and not engine oil? Either way the fix will probably require splitting the tractor.

    Tips on removing 3-Pt attachments

The problem is that in order for the balls to come off of the pins, the tractor and implement need to come slightly closer together, and you can't really do both sides at the same time, so each side needs to move differently. I never really had much problem with my dad's cat I tractor, but...

    Land Pride quick hitch?

If you have implements of different widths they help out a lot, especially if used in combination with telescoping stabilizers. Getting off to hook up the top link isn't that big of a deal, especially if you're hooking up a PTO implement. In fact, keeping that top link out of the way makes it...
