B7100 HST 4WD Need help please.

Finally found where the noise was coming from. Both universal joints on the front wheel drive have completely disintegrated. We have removed the shaft, and now have 2 wheel dr. Does anyone have ideas on replacement shaft, other than a good machinist? Sure would like to get her back to 4 wheel...

    B7100 HST foot pedal problem

Spring is here, got my B7100 going again. 30 sec glow plug and she started. But, when moving in fwd there is a low "click click noise" and then the foot pedal gives a jerk. At first I thought a loose wheel, but not. Sounds like something inside is catching now and then. Anyone know what this...

    Key broke!

Got it!!! First I gave it a squirt of Fluid Film (see pic), then a sharp hole punch. I lightly tapped the punch with a 6 oz hammer creating a small indent, then was able to work the piece out. Lucky or what! Thanks for all the suggestions, now I have to find a new key.

    Key broke!

The ignition key on my B7100HST broke off! Does anyone have an easy way to remove the part still in the key slot? A magnet does not work. I can still insert the outside piece to glo-plug and start her, but would prefer to use a new key. Thanks for any useful ideas.

    fuel transfer methods?

Here are pics of what I use. I found a white 30 gallon drum (so I can monitor the fuel level and fabricated the rest from things just around the shop. The bungs are the same as the 45 gallon drum. I load this on the Carry-all behind the B7100 and drive to the local gas stop about 1/4 mile...

BX2670 FEL drifts down, main control valve?

Welcome to the drip down club, I have the same problem with both ends of my B7100HST. I solved the 3 pt hitch drip/drop down using a chain from each lift arm to a "slot" cut into two pieces of angle iron which we welded to the ROB about straight up from the lift arms behind the seat. I just...

    B7100HST rear axle/wheel rim problem

Again thanks everyone, these new hubs solved my problem. I spray painted them Kubota orange as soon as they arrived, and installed the next day, using the original stud nuts which almost look like new (with fresh paint on them)! Total was US $348.60 including $86 shipping, which translates to...

    B7100HST rear axle/wheel rim problem

Gee! as soon as I saw this axle/rim fitting I knew it would work for me. Thanks a million everyone for the help! I ordered 2 and they have been shipped already, arriving possibly early next week. Price was not cheap especially with a low CDN dollar, and I hope the tariff problems are...

    B7100HST rear axle/wheel rim problem

Rear wheels are loose on the axles, adjustment nut is as tight as it will go. I have schedule 8 bolt through the hole but they shear every now and then. Rear wheels sometimes sound like they are coming off. Obviously there is wear as this old girl has 1,900+ hours and the original tires. Is...

B7100 HST Is it the clutch?

Mar 25, 2018 B7100 HST clutch replacement project. Well I'm back... I bit the bullet and ordered the new clutch parts from the local dealer, came to Can $549.24. Expensive compared to the US prices, but it was quick! Ordered one day in the AM and they called the very next day in the...

B7100 HST Is it the clutch?

Hi Wolfman Thanks for the response so quickly! 1: The PTO also stops, I had to raise the rototiller, then do the kick fwd/reverse thing. It was almost like the tiller got jambed on something, but after I did the kick thing she would carry right on again. I will do the cover thing to check...

B7100 HST Is it the clutch?

I have 2 problems with my B7100 HST 4WD tractor, 1900 hrs. 1: Both the FEL (Kubota 1630 single lever) and 3 pt hitch lose pressure and will not hold their position. I solved the 3 pt hitch with a chain from each lower arm to 2 "slot attachments" welded to the roll over bar, but this does not...

B7100HST 4wd foot pedal. Need solution

Sequel to the B7100 HST foot pedal problem Well finally the weather cleared up here in Eastern Canada. When I removed the cover over the Hydraulic filter, I found that the parts of the shaft were loose and floppy, and determined from WSM that there were shims or bushings in there and ordered...

B7100HST 4wd foot pedal. Need solution

Further to my request for info on the HST foot pedal problem I have found the enclosed "Control Linkage" diagram and explanation of the parts for a different modet Kubota. Does anyone know if the my B7100 HST has a similar setup? And, if it has how do I get to that part of the machine?
