    L2201/L245 Traction worries

Can anyone give me some pointers on increasing traction on a L2201 2wd? Last tractor was a l2250 4wd so I am a little nervous about the 2wd while bush hogging and discing. Right now the tractor has turf tires. Would I be better of with ag tires or will chains be ok? also plan on adding a FEL...

    B6000e questions

I wonder if the 5 foot finish mower is going to be too much. Some have said it would be ok, some say it is too big. I wonder if anyone is running this same mower ( Woods RM59) with their B600e? Need to find reverse blades for this mower as well but not sure where to look. Paul

    B6000e questions

Well it's too early to tell, I heated up the blades, beat the backsides flat and put an edge on them(sort of). This has not worked well enough to be productive. I was thinking of buying some flat blades and putting a nice edge on the backside and trying that. It is winter so I am also challenged...

    B6000e questions

Picked this little b6000e out from behind a mower shop last month for $500 and not that the holidays are over my son and I are eager to get started on cleaning the old girl up. Managed to scrounge around and traded some stuff for a 4 foot bush hog and a woods RM59-2 finish mower. We fabricated...

    RPM for bush hogging

I aways felt that running mine at 2500 rpm seemed high as well so I run my bushhog at about 2000, I'm sure 2500 is fine but I always try to cut down on fuel consumption. My neighbor swears by running his at 1500 ,but I never got good results from that. Paul
