    RF, I just bought a 245 2WD with the 1200 loader. I keep a 6ft grader box attached to the back for weight on the back tires and it does OK moving gravel, etc. with the FEL (not as good as 4wd, but it is what it is..) Much better than a dirt scoop. I thought it would be easy enough to find an online WSM and get the date of manufacture from the serial number (L245 500084)...
