    Won't stay in low gear

While bush hogging the other day my L2850 started popping out of Low gear. It is really annoying having to stop and put it back in low. I split the tractor to change the main seal on the tranny last year. I Didn't make any adjustments to any of the gears in side. I did adjust the Clutch. Has...

    B8200 Hydraulics working intermitently

Is fluid properly serviced? I put too much in mine when I changed the fluid and filters. It got real foamy and the 3 pt was erratic. When I corrected it has worked fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Dual stage clutch adjustment

I can't seem to get the clutch adjusted on my 2850. In order to get the pto to shut off the throw out bearing is always spinning. When I put the new clutch discs in and pressure plates I couldn't find a way to accurately adjust the bolts that contact the bearing. I Left it where it was when I...

    Now metal in oil

I got lucky today and got it back together. I think it was hanging up in the pilot on the back of the crank. Either way it took a bunch of measurements and wiggling but she is back together. I have a few more panels to put on. Then it's run time. I hope it doesn't leak any more. I took the hyd...

I was thinking pin scraps also but the shape is wrong. The pin sides are rounded and the pieces have 3 flat sides Here is a closer view. As for the source. I think he's about 3 foot tall. I left the fill cap off while I had it split before. His cohort also in the picture might have been an...

    Now metal in oil

The chunks are shaped like a gear tooth. I pulled the top cover off to look at the gear set. All the gears looked good. The srynchros looked fine. I also pulled and split the hyd filter. Found a washer and cotter pin that looked like they went a couple rounds with a gear. Looking at the pictures...

    Now metal in oil

Just when I thought this would be easy she threw a curveball and nailed me in the noggin. I started to take the l2850 apart again to split for oring replacement. When I drained the hydraulic fluid I found some metal chunks in it. They are pretty large steel parts. It looks like the corners of...
