My throttle no longer has any resistance to movement and has to be held open with a bungie or will vibrate back to idle. My manual is no help ie. no obvious bushing in the pivot. Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks.

Thanks Mikey but there are no nuts on mine. The actuating rod is held in the hand lever by cotter pins through holes drilled in the rod and washers. Perhaps I could try thicker washers to produce some friction, but I'm wondering what changed.

Hello My b6000 throttle has gotten too loose and will not stay in WOT position. I plowed my driveway (snow!) yesterday with one hand on the throttle lever and one on the wheel shifting to the bucket controls when needed. I have a Bxtended clamp on plow blade, works pretty well. I have not yet...

This is something that I have wondered about. Is it supposed to stay down? Mine disengages when I take my foot off the pedal and I guess that's the way it's supposed to work.

Here's some pics of mine. I bought a bxtended plow to attach to loader last year. This year not much snow yet. We had snow the day before Thanksgiving and it is gone now

I believe that mine is original to the tractor. Runs off it's own engine mounted, belt driven hydraulic pump.

Thanks for the suggestion freewheel,I did loosen and rotate that boot and the noise went away, mostly. Something about alignment i guess. i do hear the noise when on rough terrain and at higher speeds but knowing what it is don't worry about it.

Tried that, lots of noise. My book says 200 cc of oil per side. Is that correct? I am going to try a heavier oil, say Redline Shockproof Heavy. Anybody else?

I'm increasingly worried about what I think is gear noise coming from the front end of my B6000. It's loud! I have tried a few things, I changed the gear oil in the front differential and in both wheel gear cases with what I thought was a better oil. I experimented with driving in both 4 and 2...

For my B6000 I use a block heater installed inline on the lower radiator hose. Available at local auto parts store. The engine turns over easily at below zero temps. I also use plenty of glow plug.

Ach, thanks for the interest. I was going downhill and at an angle. wkytp.com does have the part but at a price very close to the new price. 284 International gave me a very good lead and I made a call tonight. That axle housing is at the other end of the USA. Need to find out about shipping...
