Does the B7400 really have a class 1 3-point system, as advertised?

Fortunately, the pins were bolted on. The 1 1/4" nuts took a 4' cheater bar over the breaker bar to loosen, but we got 'er did. Now we need to shave down the bushing on one end of the top link so it will fit the anchor point on the tractor. Might actually get some work done today, after all.

Thanks for the comeback. I just came from the local Kubota dealer, who also suggested grinding down the ends of the bushing enough for it to fit the anchor point on the rear of the tractor. Said he's run across the problem before. Trying to reverse the pins now; came in to try to find a socket...

Does the B7400 really have a class 1 3-point system, as advertised?

Just bought a boom pole, by County Line, through TSC, for my B7400. First crack out of the box, a cat 1 top link won't fit the anchor point on the back of the tractor; had to drop back to a cat 0 top link ($10 more, for some reason, although it's smaller overall than the cat 1). Now I'm finding...

    B7400 HST transmission fluid change

Thanks, Wolfman. When this deep freeze goes away I'll see what I can manage.

    B7400 HST transmission fluid change

Sorry, guys, but this machine is driving me up the wall, & I need help again. Went to move it the other day, but it wouldn't budge; still won't. Hydraulics aren't working, either. Discovered the filter just inboard of the left rear tire dripping steadily. Judging by the looks of the ground...

    ISO B7400 farm tires

I tried plowing about 4" of snow yesterday with these turf tire; pretty much an exercise in futility. I started thinking in terms of a set of chains, but I was all over the internet trying to find them...no such luck. For some dumb reason, I tried Tractor Supply; not a tractor tire to be had...

    ISO B7400 farm tires

I know my Dixie Chopper ZT mower came through with turf tires & I traded them for ag tires the next day; turfs spin on some of my ground, where ags do just fine. You're saying turf tires will go better in snow than ag tires? No rubber tire without chains is going to do much on ice, but why...

    ISO B7400 farm tires

Anybody have some or know where I can find some? These half-gone turf tires ain't gettin' it on the slip 'n slide I call home.

    Tightening B7400 stop rod

I think I will, if I can find some. Not that this tractor's headed to any shows, but somehow it just looks unfinished. I'm kinda funny that way.

    Tightening B7400 stop rod

So there's no provision for taking up the extra space in the hole through the dash where the end of the rod comes through, like a rubber grommet, maybe?

    Tightening B7400 stop rod

Yep, or it would be if it were there, but as far as I can see there's nothing for one to screw onto; just the knob threaded onto the end of the rod.

    Tightening B7400 stop rod

Yeah, it's a steel rod with a bend in it, just like in Wolfman's illustration, except that the illustration shows what appears to be the retaining nut I was expecting to find once I figured out how to get to it. No such luck! Traced the rod as far forward as I could; nothing there.

    Tightening B7400 stop rod

Well that's not exactly good news. Looks like I'll have to find out how to get the dash off. Thanks
