Never saw this same issue with my JD.....or I would have done the same thing I suggested above. I have now taken care of the obvious defects in the Kubota design for my needs. Maybe I will see more....and will come up with alternatives as I find them. My point is...this stuff is not...

At the risk of differing with you......Light Duty rotary cutters are typically made to cut brush up to 1" diameter......Medium Duty cutters to 2" or so......and Heavy Duty cutters cut brush of 3" and more. Those cutters are designed to be pulled behind a utility tractor. Have been for many...

Well, I got my new tractor delviered today. They still did not have the right QD attachments for the grapple.....but promised them soon. No issue. The dealer made a plate like was descibed above....and authorized by Kubota. The dealer thanked me for "standing my ground" on this issue...

^ Thanks for recognizing a problem with the Kubota offered 3rd function kit. This "kit" was not installed on the tractor I am buying....when I made our deal. Days later I see this situation after the dealer installs the Kubota "kit".....and knowing what I know.....this is unaceppatble...

No....it IS a Kubota factory 3rd function kit.....or I would not be complaining about it. Hopefully the dealer will find a reasonable solution. They are a new dealer.....and a bit "green" on how Kubota stuff works - perhaps there is a good solution. I'm not saying it's a skidder.....but...
