    Pto stuck

Most importantly don't try to force it, the linkages can get bent easily. You just have to get the gears to align and it will move easily. You can do that by manually moving the PTO shaft, or by engaging the PTO itself while applying slight pressure to the selection lever.

Front Axle low on brand new BX2380

Common on nearly every BX I've seen or heard about. It was factory filled and dealer checked, but after a few hours of use some air worked its way out. Same with the coolant as well, check it.

    Mid PTO Problem on BX2380

This is common. You just have to get it to turn so the gears align again. What I do is apply light pressure on the PTO selector lever while slowly engaging the PTO. As the gears align it will slip right in. You could also turn the PTO shaft manually by hand to align it as well. And as...

    Gopher War

We use a type of snap trap at work to get the pocket gophers. You locate their tunnel using a probe, then dig a small hole just big enough for the trap. They don't like the light in the tunnel and try to fix the hole...right into the trap. We have 1100 acres, and one of my employees has all...

Can you figure this one out? Answer post 12!

Re: Can you figure this one out? We've had that happen where I work. Our fuel barrel is outside, but our snow plows stay in a heated building when not in use. If someone tops off a truck too much then puts it inside, it will overflow overnight. Most of us have learned to leave them down a...

    BX pallet forks

It would be nice if they provided a little more information on their website, like pricing. I see a few items I find interesting, but all you get for anything is a couple of sentences and a few pictures. If you want anything more you have to contact them directly.

    Performance Module For more horsepower

Just the rumor I heard anyway. I think it came up in a conversation somewhere else why "XYZ" company wasn't coming out with kits for new trucks, and the story was that the feds had gotten involved. DPF Delete kits may become a black market item, if the feds go after any website or business...

    BX pallet forks

I believe the Ai2 forks are solid steel. I know for the use of a BX it probably doesn't matter much, but I think I prefer solid versus boxed style.

    Performance Module For more horsepower

I've heard from some guys in the truck tuning world that the government has started going after companies that produce and install DPF delete kits. They are treating it like removing a catalytic converter from a car. I think the EPA or whoever regulates emissions is trying to scare people...

    BX pallet forks

I've been eyeballing the new Ai2 ones myself. They are quite expensive, but are the strongest yet lightest weight SSQA forks I've found. They are only a few hour drive from here, so I could skip the shipping and go get them.

    BX2380 or BX2680 ?

I have the 2380 and haven't run into a horsepower problem yet. Even if I did, all I'd have to do is slow down slightly.

    BX2380 PTO Engagement Delay

Just a follow up on this thread. I took my BX into the dealer. Just as suspected, they found a piece of silicon material blocking the flow of hydraulic fluid to the valve.

New BX2380 just dropped off yesterday

Nice machine...I'm wishing I had gotten the snowblower when I purchased mine. I strongly recommend checking the coolant level and the front axle fluid level after the first few hours of use. Both it seems don't get truly purged of air right away, and will wind up quite low after a few hours of...

    BX2380 PTO Engagement Delay

One of my theories is maybe some of the silicon sealant or some other blockage got into the system? I had quite a bit of the silicon in the screen at my 50 hour service, so I opted to fully replace the transmission/hydraulic fluid at that point. The hydro is now much quieter with the new SUDT2...

    BX2380 PTO Engagement Delay

My understanding is that it is hydraulically actuated.
