I can't disagree with your assessment of HFT electrical anything. Everything over ever bought has failed, most times after a couple of uses. The tenders are still functional though even after 2 or 3 years. I noticed they are a quarter of the weight of my Battery Tender branded ones.

I got about 6 tenders going all winter. 2 on the tractors, one shared by the quads, another on the side by sides one on the zero turn, one on the gararaged car and some on spare batteries. Hmmm, maybe I have seven. I've found the HFT ones (their better ones that sold for over $20 a few years...

You got that right my friend. My truck's tranny went wild yesterday and is leaking. My backhoe trencher is a 1979, say no more. Even gentleman farming is rough on everything and something always needs to be straightened, welded, repaired or replaced. Such is our lot. Early Merry Christmas...

I went with option 1 (Richie Rich) as it's the right thing to do. I already have the part but it's a Spring-time job.

So final answer. I called Weavers Parts Salvage in Shippensburg PA and they had one for $450 plus another $15 for the pin. I'll get it in a week or two but this is a Spring PITA project. Thanks again to all for steering me towards the right decision.

Thanks for the input guys. The backhoe I was looking at did NOT use the 3pt arms. It had QA plates that bolted into the area where the sway links are. There are only 2 lines coming from the plow. I have rear hydraulics on the tractor, there are 4 ports for aux lines. One is labled Aux1 and the other Aux2. In the cab, there is a switch to select either Aux1 or 2. Hope this clarifies.
