    Lost My Wife

RDR, I'm another who will pray for your situation and for healing. We have a wonderful God who is above us, beside us and within us. Texting is as much a danger as being drunk. When we were walking through the LA airport, a man beside us was texting on his phone, failed to see a temporary...

More as seen on TV stuff...

CCR, Thanks again for your considerable research findings. The "Booger Bagger" looks like it works and the poo-pourri, I wonder if it is septic tank safe? We usually just light a match or use one of those foo-foo sprays. Burt

Using 3-point to Pull Up Boulders?

NIW, Here, I used one of those subsoilers pictures to dig out around some very large boulders, then using a San Angelo bar, I was able to loop a sling (harbor freight) abound the boulder, hook it onto my lower tow bar and just idled those big bad boys out. Only once or twice did the sling...

Oil Spews out of Gasket after oil change- Mechanics fault?

Daren, We've had gypo lube issues also. They took out an original oil drain plug and installed an aftermarket plug and cross threaded it. I noticed the leak and complained. They said to bring it in an we did. Now he wants to talk me into a helicoil type of plug. I didn't want shavings...

Dream come true - and 1st Tractor!

Boosted4Runner, Smart couple. Getting a tractor before house! Enjoy all you can do with it. Caveat: Do consider hiring out any dozer work you need...or any other heavy work instead of trying your tractor out that way. Getting a tractor is one of life's best adventures. Welcome to the...

Need oils and filters for 50 hr service, best place to get?

Windsolar, For a new tractor under warranty, IMO, the OEM parts are the only way to go. You might save a buck or two by shopping around but the original has no substitute. Burt

    B3350 dpf issues

jhodgins94, After reading this entire blog this morning and understanding more about the problems of DPF's, regens, and other mandated engine add-ons, an analogy came to mind. If this were the 1800's, and cowboy days when everything was done by horse, oxen, ass, donkey, mule and human backs...

Looking to buy but have some questions.

Bobp823, You don't need no stinking EGR or DPF! The older tractors are worth more now and they run better, have higher resale. For the best advice, tell OTT what size your property is and what you need to do to/with it. The most basic country advice that sticks is "Go Bigger." Get a bigger...

    New L4701 Engine problems

NTPRICH, This is a clear cut case of 'FITNESS FOR PURPOSE. In the cases of a new product like this, it should be an entire warranty repair. Try to keep a civil relationship with the dealer and ask to talk to or e-mail the factory rep regarding this issue. Since the dealer has already...

    Garage or Shop Lighting

Humblebub, Look at this website http://hyperikon.com Their bulbs are available at Amazon. These are the bulbs we switched out our garages and shop lights with. Be sure to understand that you can get either just the replacement LED T-8's and install in a fixture, or you can wire them in. No...

    Garage or Shop Lighting

RCW, Yep, I swear by those LED lights. I changed out garages, lofts and any high lights on the gables to LED's. Like you say, they come on in the cold and give more light. I converted the garages with the Hyperikon brand and wired them in. They work and they last. Burt
