    L2402DT Front Axle Oil Leak

My experience, B1700, Leaking from center of ft. axel. Replaced all seals that could be source of leak. That did not stop the leak. I determined that it was the orings on the cups that support the pivoting action of axel. Got eng. dwgs from Kubota & measured everything up but found none...

    Front axel leak, B1700HST

My oil leak has returned. Same as before. I can see that it is leaking past the o-rings on the axel pivot pins/shafts. I am wondering if the axel housing should have a vent on it to equalize internal pressure. I cannot find one. Service manual shows one (I think) next to the fill/dip stick...

Looking for help to tweek the creep out of my HSD1700. I have the (PDF) service manual which is unclear to me how to do this. Think the authors do not have a very good command of the English. I tried to adjust the centering springs to no avail. It's the neutral adjusting portion of the...

    Front axel leak, B1700HST

Just acquired a new to me B1700. Oil leaking from center on front axel. Do not have any manuals for it & cannot find parts list on Kubota.com. Can someone tell me how & where the drive shaft separates from the axel housing? OK, found the parts list on Kubota.com. I was using the model # as...

    ZL600, water in oil

Update: Took the head off yest. The head gasket delaminates some from removing the head so it's hard to tell if/where it was leaking. I thing it was leaking on the left (valve) side. Engine does have cylinder liners... may I assume that they are dry? Just trying to determine other...

    ZL600, water in oil

Wolfman, Yes, engine did have coolant in crankcase over winter. Estimate about 2 quarts. Leak is very slow. Can not see it go down. I drained oil out yest. Cannot see any coolant draining after oil is out (drain plug out).

Early B6000 that gets use very little. Is getting water in crankcase. Do these engines have wet sleeves? I am hoping the leak is head gasket. Are they prone to cracked head? Can any of you more experienced owners give me some advice ~ how to procede? I do consider myself to be an amature...
