That "port" in the picture looks like the banjo bolt/fitting from the supply oil from the pump - you don't want to try to connect there. There should be another port with a plug on it just under the front of the seat hinge coming out the side of a T handle valve (at least there is on my B7100)...

I'm pretty sure that was me that mentioned the larger D950 valve interference. I don't see any reason why a D750 or D850 head wouldn't work just fine on a D950.... just a hair down on power due to the smaller valves. I don't know about the D650, but only because I haven't seen one. -Pete

I accidentally kicked my key and broke it off while re-boarding last month. I managed to get the piece out with some skinny needlenose pliers, took the two pieces to a local locksmith and he was able to cut me a new one for about $7. Gotta like guys who know their stuff!

I think the cover gaskets are used as shims. If you're down to one very thin one, have good look at the upper race thats machined on the steering shaft. Mine has worn so that I've got some up and down play as well. Was thinking of putting a shim under the lower race to take up the slack.

Other than the risk of it coming down and squishing something/someone, the hydraulic cylinder rods are exposed therefore subject to possible damage - dings, dirt, getting bent or rusting. (rust is unlikely unless they have inferior chrome plating)
