Any ideas on how I can safely lift and install 18ft pole barn timbers?

Piece of cake. All matched (40m) iwth a truss every 2' (snow...

Any ideas on how I can safely lift and install 18ft pole barn timbers?

We did that last year. put the rope at one end and lifted the post up, one person steered it into the hole. No sweat. 70hp tractor. Posts only weigh 200 or less pounds. sorry no photos. I was operating the tractor then got made redundant.

    L3560 vs Deere 2038R

Checkthe height width ratio. Our 70hp kubota is really tippy (5' wide 9' high). Go with the widest base. It isn't fun having a wheel come off the ground.

    L3901 Mower size

What is the hp? I mowed for years with a 1974 MF 135 with a loader with a 5' mower. No problem. Love this tractor, but couldn't lift 1200 pound hay bales. b

    which to buy

I am looking to buy a smaller tractor. The 70hp is too big (and tippy). I will use the smaller tractore for harrowing fields and arena, mowing. Which one do you suggest? My Massey Ferguson 135 could do all I needed and have mower(s), blade, etc for it. I don't know how small I can go.

    New tractor

Do you get snow? We only use the 4wd feature on our 70hp in winter. It needs the 4wd. (not impressed) in winter to move snow and hay.
