    Should i buy bush hog?

I have a b7100 with a 4 ft brush cutter and in my opinion 5ft would be too much not only in terms of lack of power but also the weight. I have a lot of counter weight on the front of mine and the front wheels spend quite a bit of the time off the ground on anything other than flat land

A question about counter weights when using just a backhoe.

I guess why they recommend the fel is, one can level the machine when pointing down hill which makes it much easier to dig level. Also the ground contact of the fel bucket means more down force can be applied by the hoe bucket before the rear wheels and legs lift off the ground. When the latter...

A question about counter weights when using just a backhoe.

Judging by my experience with a B7100 with fel and backhoe I would think you will be hard pressed to get enough weight out front. I have to load the fel bucket with weights to keep the front end on the ground when going up hill. Dave

    3 point hitch not working

Depending on how your fel is plumbed in ,the diverted valve may need turning to the tpl position! Dave

anybody know the dimentions of a cat 1 heavy hitch?

Do they make a light hitch with a helium balloon ;) 99% of the time I need less rear weight to keep my front wheels on the ground :D dave

    Wanting to lower ROPS

Personally I wouldnt,Rops are designed to give maximum operator protection so lowering it could cause the tractor to keep rolling instead of going on its side and digging in.What about hanging something like a tennis ball on a string in the door way to remind you to lower it? Dave

Adjusting side to side movement on 3 point

With the ends in your link Bulldog,do they fit loose on the end of the lower links? if they do fine as they can self align but if not and the implement is too wide for the arms to remain parallel as in the first post then it may bind in the pick up hooks? Dave

A little help with my "new" B7100DT

Your over site in mistaking the oil light for glow plug is understandable in new owners and should not cause embarrassment as every one has to learn,it does however highlight that any work ought to be delayed until owners/WSM is to hand .Both of these for your model are available and free on the...

A little help with my "new" B7100DT

If the coil doesnt glow the tractor doesnt start or starts with roughness ,its a very faint glow which on a bright day is barely visible at the bottom of the recess. so its not indicating current or it would glow all the time the key was in heat position dave
