Got a set installed on my Deere. I'm getting tired of kicking around implements to get them lined up. The lighter ones like the rake aren't too bad, but the heavier items like the tiller and rotary cutter, can be a chore at times.
Pats users, do you constantly leave your sway control links loose? Do you tighten them down every time for a rigid mount and then have to loosen them up to drop and re-pick?
Here's some obligatory pics (guys are probably getting tired of seeing pics of my Deere
)
I was able to cut off about 2" of the Pats stabilizer bar and it now can be stowed on my lower arm, when not in use. Nice and secure, out of the way and always with me.
I think i'm going to make a modification to the supplied Pats stabilizer. The square tube appears to be 1/2". I think i'm going to get 3/4" square tube and drill one 5/16" hole through it. Then in the 1/2' square tube, drill 6-8, 5/16" holes in it approximately 3/4" apart. Then i'm able to use a 1/4" linch pin for quick and easy adjustment and no issues with the screw knob coming loose and getting lost.
