I have 2 pallets of wood pellets on my trailer, just over a ton each. I have this wild idea, pull the pallet off with the B2650 maybe using ramps then use the bucket to position the pallets. I did something similar with large hay bales and my old 8N but I didn't have to worry about busting bags of pellets. The pallets are double wrapped with plastic to keep bags together. Somebody talk me down, lol.

Sounds kinda if'ee to me. I used to hand load off the truck/trailer into the bucket and move.
Nothing worse than cleaning spilt pellets.
Let us know the outcome.

I'd say go for it. Likely floor to ground distance is 18 inches or so, a couple 2x6 ramps 5-6' long be just fine. Pull with a draw bar, not the bucket or 3pt. Chock the trailer tire, put in low gear and take it slow.

Might consider a couple load straps to keep bags from sliding off the pallet. Pull on the pallet.

Years ago I pulled a 10x10 all wood storage shed off a gooseneck trailer with a B2400. Trailer had beaver tail & steel ramps, and it was over 36 inches off ground. Had zero issues.

I don't see any problem. I use 3 2by10s with a sheet of plywood on top as my 8' ramp, withsome blocks 1/2way underneath. Ramp is secured to trailer with chain, I pull skids of 4by8 pavers off all the time, skids have 240 pavers so 1,000#+. It's all about the setup, nice smooth, secure ramp is the trick.

Well it was a good try, issue was the steel lip, about 1/4", that I could not get the pallet over. Not enough umph to lift the pallet a bit so did it by hand. As I get older I am always looking for an easier way. At least this way I am getting my exercise for the week and a plus was that it was not too hot today.

I use one of these to unload flatbed trailers of pellets and wood bricks it will lift 2000~2200 lb skids no problem. I don't know what your 3pt is rated for but these work well for unloading and stacking skids.

Lay a sheet of plywood down first next year and the pallets can slide over the lip?

I welded angle iron 'L's to the back of my trailer...'magically' a 1/4" LOWER than the deck. The ramps 'magically' have a '7' that fits onto the 'L' and they're a tad lower than the deck . Got caught with the 'tall lip' thing decaes ago....

Already have the 'bigger' tractor. Use my pallet fork attachment to position full skids of pellets and bagged corn in the barn. In fact, I stack the skids of pellets 2 high to save space. Usually get 4 skids of pellets and 4 skids of bagged corn. I like the house toasty in the winter.
