the manual for my b2301 calls for filter replacement at 50 hrs but not fluid replacement.
how much fluid will I loose trying to replace the filters?
I need to know so I have enough on hand to replace what I loose while trying to replace the filters.

When I changed my filter at 50 hours as directed, I lost about a half gallon. My son-in-law said that he only lost a quart so I guess it depends on how fast you are.

Get the old filter loose.....slightly, then get the new filter ready - spin off and spin on, I bet you will not loose a half a cup, WHATEVER you do, do not pull the dipstick out UNTIL you are finished......that suction help hold back a good deal of fluid.:)
