I've seen numerous posts where people make passing mention of their bikes. I would have to say my "daily rider" for the most part is a restored 79Yamaha XS1100 F, or standard. It's on the lift now waiting for me to finish an oil and final drive fluid change.

I’m an off-road guy. I don’t ride as often as I used to, but still enjoy the time in the saddle. Me on the “Orange” bike, of course.

Was that photo taken in Kansas?
No, below the Reno Divide in Cement Creek valley CO. I take a trip every year (38 in a row) to CO with family & friends to ride the mountain passes & camp out. The red bike is my son, other 2 are nephews.

It is a race for the different manufacturers in different countries. Factory riders of course, but bikes are impounded at the end of the day, only routine maintenance is allowed. 6 stages (days) are run, kind of an endurance thing. KTM sells a model to honor the race. It had all the cool accessories that most people would install on their bikes.

Last street bike I was on (1986) was a Yamaha 750, was cut off by a Volvo and implanted it into the back of it doing 60mph.

Last off road bike I was on (2016) was a 350 Kawasaki, was doing a 11 hour trail ride, it was the first time I'd been on a bike since 1986, 15min into the ride came around a blind corner, braked for an oncoming forest service truck hit a rut and flipped the bike right on top of myself. Stunned me, but got back on and rode out the rest of the 10 hours and 45 min, the whole time both of my feet and legs hurting really bad.
The next day I couldn't even stand.
The next day got in the next day to see a specialist, hobbling in was killing me, but I did it with help from the wife.
Doc checked me out then said lets get some X-rays.
They were digital X-rays and before I could even get up the X-ray tech and 2 nurses brought me a wheel chair and helped me get on it, to get me back to the exam room.
Then doc came in and said I have no idea how you walked in here, you have broken your right foot completely in half, and shattered your left shin and seriously bruised and hyper extended your left foot.
He was even more shocked that I rode another 10+ hours like that.
I'm pretty sure that's the last time my backside will be on 2 wheels!

I have several, but my daily rider is a 2003 FJR. Last thing I did to her (before winterizing) was routine maintenance -- valve shims, TB synch, brakes & tires. My records show it was the 15th set of tires on that bike.

The others all date from the 80's. Gotta love those classic naked UJMs.

'16 Yamaha FJ09 - Patted it on the seat and checked the battery tender. At least a month before I take it out of hibernation.

It's sleeping next to my daughter's '21 Ninja 400. I suspect I'll tool around on it some before she picks it up. Just to make sure everything is in order, ya know...

Honda VT100. Even with only a 4 speed this was a great highway hauler !
Sold to help pay for the new furnace. Gone 5 years and I have the itch to get another ride.
Been on some type of bike since my Yamaha 125 Enduro in the 70's.

Just sold my 2008 Goldwing last month. We've ridden it all up and down the East Coast from Maine to Key West. made it as far West as San Antonio. Great bike, just wasn't feeling as comfortable on it anymore so I figured it was a good way to finance more attachments (WC-68) should be deilvered today if I can believe the tracking # LOL.
