I use the same style hand pump you show on your new tank.
That is a Fill-Rite FR-150 pump. I have no idea how it pumped because I had a grandson that filled my tank and then pumped the Kubota full. Something like 5 double action strokes per gallon.

Since the tank is only 24" high it is a simple matter to dump a 5 gallon jug of fuel in.

When I re-plumb for the filter, the fuel will exit from the top (black plug) instead of from the side.

When I made the dolly for the boxblade I had no idea how handy it would be for other large items…

WHOA! A ice hockey table attachment! Does that have a skid steer quick attach?
Yes. We like to have the option to play anywhere on the property. Put the generator on the back, a short extension cord to the table, and we have a completely portable setup. 😉

Mowed lawn yesterday before the 4 day rain starts. Replaced black front plastic grille, a stick poked through it when pushing some brush back last week. Dealer wanted $29+ and not in stock. Messicks was $24.09 + $6 or so shipping. Ordered on a Friday and was here on Monday...can't believe it was that cheap, figured it'd be way more expensive...

Perfect weather to get two huge brush piles disappeared. No wind, light shower or two before significant rain.

Got er going with the blower.

Uh, I needed a grapple :)

We had this large tree that came down years ago in an ice storm. The significant root ball was right next to the driveway. The wife has been after me to get rid of it.
So yesterday I dug out he root ball with the fel (thank you toothbar) and pushed it and the whole tree back about 5'. Thought that was then end of the story. Not so. . .
Wife wants the root ball gone - its still too visible when coming down the driveway.

The dog is standing where it was.

So today I cut the trunk and used the grapple to drop it over the other side of the driveway, down into the woods.

I have to give the grapple all the credit. I had thought about flipping it o its side and grabbing the trunk but decided the uneven weigh distribution was not a good thing. Only two tines held this baby.

I only want to say you could have said "My dog and it's name is standing where it was!" I am here for the love of dogs!

Nice job on the root system, my wife would have it in a garden, cut a little closer to the roots though and on it's side.

Used the grapple to move a lot of branches and logs at my parents properly as we slowly cleaned up the mess from Fiona. Back at it tomorrow as we work through the family members properties.

That's a nice picture of Farfel for sure! On the bed of course too!

:)
of course on the bed . . . He and his sister Daisy (Black Lab) sleep there (even tho there are full sized dog beds on the floor). Its a juggling act every night for everyone to find their spot. My wife is more protective of her 'space' and the dogs know I'm a pushover. At 85lbs and 70lbs they take up some room.

not sure I really want to post this one but...

small re-grading and seed job after a soil line dig/installation. I had thought this would be a larger job than when I pulled up this am. Not much room to maneuver with a long landscape rake on the back end.

Senior moment today cleaning up the garden. Placed the hand pruner in the convenient slot on the upper front end loader arm under the top zerk. Forgot I placed it there and lifted a bucket full for the compost pile. Halfway there I discovered the mistake. The zerk is mostly gone and will need to be replaced. Is this a standard zerk or a special item? Looks like a 45% angle......just a basic L front loader.
Thanks for any help in advance.

I was able to get down to the land and spend a few hours on the new pond dig. Looks like the wildlife are a bit impatient! I am perhaps 30% dug at this point. The next few sessions I will start to concentrate on the perimeter and dam. The photos really flatten things out but this pond should have some pretty good depth in the center. Hoping for 8 to 10 foot deep.

I have a local company that sells bentonite infused geosynthetic clay liners working up a proposal after determining suitability for my soil type and overall shape and size. I always have granular sodium bentonite to fall back on if the clay liner does not pan out. As you can see from the standing water after a 2 inch rain a week ago that there is some clay content.

Is it possible that doe is pregnant? I have other trail cam photos and video of her showing the same thing so I know its not the light playing tricks. I do not know enough about whitetail breeding habits etc to know if she could drop a fawn in late Sept or oct?

Great pics…recently I have seen articles / interviews and other propaganda suggesting men can get pregnant, so I struggle to say something is not possible anymore. But seriously to your question, it would be rare for a doe to not have dropped the fawn for this calendar year. But from the pic, she looks like she may be eating for two. Normally breeding season begins in end oct / beginning Nov pending your location. It varies north to south regionally. D&DH in past has been good source for information….here’s a link:
