I have a new to me B2410 I purchased a week ago. I've about done all of the fluid service - and am wrapping up the HST trans fluid change. The manual calls for the strainer to be removed and cleaned. I'm just having a really hard time getting the strainer loose! It doesn't help that it is larger than any socket I currently own. Any guess on the size? Any recommendations for getting it loose? I've tried a 14 inch crescent wrench and even with that leverage couldn't budge it.

This is literally the *last* thing I need to do before I put the fluid back in and go mow :)

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks,

-Calvin

It takes a 26mm wrench. I would suggest a 6 point socket. I did my 2410 about a month ago and it really helped to pull the rear tire and wheel off to service the strainer.
