The BoltOnHooks tie down brackets are a great mod for the Kubota LX. Very well built and reasonably priced. I posted a YouTube video on these last week with installation tips and hole pattern spacing. If you have a B Series and hole spacing is 1.5" center to center for the diagonal holes, the front brackets will work also. If interested, check out the video.......I also have another video with different tie down options.

Our MX5100 and L5030 at work don’t have loaders. I made this.

Yea, it’s only single point, but is better than multiple guys thinking their way is better, over the weight bracket and zigzaged through the 3 point arms.

I used the HF tow hooks as well. Serves dual purposes...tie downs, and winch rope return off snatch block.

Here’s a post I made recently about tie downs for the front and rear of my B2601 and the Rear of my L3830

JU FabWorks B and L Tie Down Brackets

Here’s another post I made wherein I mention the 5 Eleven Designz tie downs for the front of my L3830 (although I would have like JU’s better, I didn’t know they existed at the time).

i think both of them really started to pump them out this spring. If your going to get a set make sure to use the Goodworks discount.

I must cheat. I just use lasso type tire ratchet straps to hold my B2650 to the trailer. Rock solid, and no sharp edges to chafe the straps. Each strap is rated to 3,300#. Well above the weight of my little machine. Strap goes on each corner.

I’m sure they work I’m lazy and slapping a hook on and ratcheting looks easyer than using those. I might be totally wrong.

I couldn’t agree more on a larger machine! But with my little B2650, it’s a little bit of a challenge to use chains from a point on the frame. I did that for a while, but I had to have it perfectly positioned on the trailer so my chains would have a straight shot to the tie down points. The bucket, tires, or rear implements would often obstruct my clear shot to the tie down.

Since I started using the tire straps, that’s no longer an issue. Good solution for smaller machines.
