Hi all, couldn't find a "here's where you put your first post", so here's mine. I'm in Northern Michigan.
This is my first tractor. MX5400. 9 hours at this point. Have been very happy with it.
Using for grading, pushing trees over, pulling up saplings and basically whatever strikes me as moveable at the time.
Also have a LandPride box blade. 72"
Bucket cutting edge. Standard.
Added a $7 tool box from Family Farm. Pretty impressive mod to this tractor. See pic. Hold on to your shorts.
I figure if it gets busted off, I pick up the parts and find a different solution. Used some well oversized washers on both sides of the box.

Playing around on 15 acres in Northern Michigan.

If this "intro" should have been posted elsewhere - let me know.
Welcome, jermz. Love the toolbox mod! I need to do that. I did add a step, a wheel spinner, and a Piranha tooth bar.

I like the chain storage but might be hard to get at with a loader on the front. Nice work. I got a great. Idea just haven’t had time yet to build mine.

So far I keep my chains wrapped around the box blade. works well.. meaning an $80 chain hasn't fallen off yet. So far so good. Like the idea of keeping a chain under the chin of the front end on the tractor.

It’s not bad. Step in bucket, hand on loader tube and it’s right there.

That looks great. Hope when mine shows up it won't take too much fabrication to put it on. It should be made for the mx/LA1065 fel, but we'll see. I like fabricating and design, but sometimes it is easier to slap something on.
Get a good sharp bit. It fit very well. Though I did mess up install some. The top of guard should touch the factory guard. See the biggish gap in mine? I had to cut the lower corners off to tilt factory guard without hitting chin guard.
