Bought a use 2018 B2650 with loader and forks
Well
I will need to find few things out by myself but a little help, advices will help
Starting
Can you start in gear like lo,med, high or just neutral
Glow plug?
I was use with my other tractors
Try to start in gear that would act like glow plug not starting
Than would start only in neutral
It has under 250 hours
Maintenance unknown, but it looks like new

Just that the gear level is not aligned with the writing on the plastic panel

Assuming your tractor is an HST, yes you can start it with the gear lever in any position. Put the throttle a little above "turtle". The glow plugs come on when you turn the key clockwise against a spring. You will see the symbol on the dash. Depending on how cold it is you hold it in that position for 2 to 10 seconds before turning it further to crank the engine. Ask the seller for the operator's manual that goes with it, very useful.

You can start the B2650 engine in any gear shift position. As long as the other safety interlocks are in the correct state, like the HST pedal in neutral, the pto disengaged, etc. it will crank.
I bump the throttle lever slightly up from idle, like 1250 rpm, to start and warm. To that end, when I shut down the engine, I'll set rpm to something near 1200-12500 rpm before shutdown, so it's set at next cold start.
I hold the key in glow plug position at least 5 seconds in warm weather when starting it cold. Up to 10 seconds for cold start in the winter cold. Once well warmed, no glow plug required.
My gear shift lever is also out of align with the L-M-N-H markings by about half the shift lever width. I'm used to it, can shift mostly by feel anyway.

Congrats I the purchase.

This is a good place to ask questions.

I would read the owners/operators manual before doing too much. You will learn things you wouldn’t even have thought to ask!

Good luck, post up some pictures.

Good choice ot tractor, I have the same and really like it for only being 26hp.
Yes the shift lever does not align with label makings
Yes you can start it in gear with brake depressed and HST in neutral,
when cold you just have to trurn the key and hold the glow plug on for a few seconds
Make sure your air filter and radiator screen is clean.

You're going to really enjoy and find a ton of uses for that tractor!! A great "mechanical steed" and for its size its a real work horse. Nice find!!!!
