I have a B6000E that I purchased with bald P235/75/15LT inch truck tires on the rear.
According to online converters they measure 29.0"x 9.3" x 15" . My property is very hilly and steep and even mowing up and down the faces only it is pucker worthy once the tires get wet with grass.
My lawn is not a "showpiece" and I have used a BX25 with industrial/ag type tires w/o any damage and would like to fit the B6000E with similair. Traction up and downhill is more important than my "lawn" . I don't mow in wet , muddy conditions, but the grass can be wet at times.
I have found Carlisle Trac Chief tires that are 27"x10.5"x15 that seem like they should work. This tractor is 2WD so I don't have to worry about ratios like in my 4WD. Would increasing the width by 1.2" (.75" on each side" ) work? Any recommendations on a similar setup ?
These are a little cheaper than the Carlisle.
This machine will likely only ever mow and occasionally pull a york rake via 3pt to level the gravel driveway.
Looking up Kubota 2 piece rims it seems like it should have been sized with 27/8.5/15 ? If thats the case a lot more options and cheaper Carlisles @ $85 /ea
Any help appreciated.
