What size tiller should I be able to use with my tractor? I have an L175 with 13.6-16" turf tires; outside to outside is approximately 56". A 5 foot tiller seems awfully big for a 17 HP tractor.

Or should I go with a four foot model and another set of wheels and ag tires?

Thanks,

Robert

Hi Robert,

I have a 4 ft tiller on a B6000 (12hp I think) and have never had a problem. I don't even notice a strain on the engine when chomping fresh turf in first gear. I think you would be OK with 5 ft.
