I've consider a quick hitch...... also thought about Pat's quick connect, but have reservations about each of those. So next thought was considering the possibility of changing out the 3 pt arms on my L3800 to those from a Grand L type.
It appears the method of attaching the arms to the tractor (near the pto shaft) appears to be the same for the L3800 and the L3560 (as well as 3540 and many others). However, I have the following concerns:
1. The width between the rear tires on my L3800 is 4.7 inches more narrow that the L3560.
2. The difference in the profile or shape of the two different arms.
3. The attaching points for the lifting rods.
4. Stablizer attachment - use the OEM for the L3800 or Mark's adjustable ones made for the L3800.
Before I pursue this any farther, I thought I would check to see if anyone else has been down this trail.
