If you unscrew your belly button, your butt will fall off!
If you pick your nose while laying down, the booger will fall off into your mouth.

Whilst I can respect your thesis regarding the tensile properties of bellybutton homo sapien your axiom regarding boogers is hogwash.

The booger is going to end up in the mouth regardless of the orientation of the donor schnozz.

Whenever you are working on something with small parts at the workbench and a part falls off the bench, it always hits your shoe and rolls under the bench clear to the wall and into the largest pile of accumulated debris residing there.

A marine mechanic working on my trawler yacht a few years ago, told me that before he began any work in a marine engine room, he would throw a handful of nuts and bolts under the engine mounts.
This was ostensibly to appease the boat Gods and gremlins.
A very obvious solution, to an age old problem.
