Taking B2650 out of storage. Anything I should do before I charge the battery and turn the key.

I have a 6 year old B2650 that has not been started in two years. I changed all the fluids and greased before stored. It has been stored in a heated garage. Anything I should do before I turn the key?

I would open hood - look for mice nests or anything crazy that could have happened over time.

Diesel fresh?

Should be fine.

FWIW: cranking batteries that are not used regularly should be charged every 4-6 weeks. Failure to do so will shorten the life significantly.

I would change the oil before you start it just because.
