I just found a B6200 with a blown HST. No attachments on this tractor. The owner was quoted $7,000 by the dealer to replace the transmission. From my research, it seems that a running B6200 with no attachments is bringing around $3,000. What do you think a fair price is for this tractor? It's been sitting for nearly 2 years because the owner has not been able to find a used transmission. I want to use it for parts to repair my B7200 that caught fire over the winter. Thanks in advance for your input!

It's not a new tractor. 32 yrs ago it sold for about $10k
It's underpowered and either 2WD or 4WD (I can't be 100% sure)
It won't move.

What else is potentially wrong with it?

The seller is lucky to have found you, or you him. (he has to know that)

I would give someone MAYBE $500 for that thing, then part it out. But that's me.

hmm...nonrunner.... maybe $300-$500 IF you think you CAN get double that in parts off it.
1) you KNOW thee HST is shot
2) not run in 2 years, outside, for sure mice have chewed the wires, fuel is garbage, maybe the inj pump too ?
Unless he's willing to start it up...300 MAX

3) what's it weigh, as scrap...offer 10% above that to 300 MAX.

don't mean to insult the owner, but really WHAT does it actually have YOU can use ?

If he needs parts to repair his burnt out 6100, then so long as all the parts he needs are there, and those parts are worth $300 to him........then no issue.
