Yep, definitely here, had to leave the grocery getter out the road and use the ATV to get out do to the frost coming out. Also looks like the raccoons are back so time to set the traps today.

I don't mind the groundhogs as they have learned to dig their holes in places I don't care about.

My dad who lived in a suburban location was a terror to chipmunks with his air rifle...

Squirrels here started getting into everything so I had to go full out ninja on them. Turns out they have gone nocturnal believe it or not, never see them through the day anymore unless we are a long ways away from the camp. The only reason I know this is because I've been getting them on my game cameras well after dark. The good news is they have been leaving my Chit alone so I can live with that.

With all the rain and warm temps we have muskrats up in the wood pile and back in the gardens. Hoping the water levels drop and they head back to the ditch. One was hunkered down in front of the garage door and jumped about 3’ in the air when I opened it last night. Not worth anything to trap them these days. Hopefully they get caught out when one of our resident hawks or owls is around. Have not seen a trash panda or a whistle pig yet this year

Not much rain here, but warm weather sure got the moles active in the yard. Well -they were active. Gotta catch then in the yard before they to the mulch(landscaping around the house). Walk lightly behind movement and pop out of the ground with a shovel.

My lawn is needing mowing again, but the lower portion is too wet.

Can't go back there because Zero Turns get stuck easily.
