Hello I’m new here. I’ve got a price on an L6060 caused with only 45 hours. Price is right at $71,000. It comes with 50 hour service included. It comes with loader, bucket, 3rd function, grapple, one rear remote and an air ride seat. It’s expensive and somewhat hard to justify but I’m wanting to buy something that is nice, that my wife will want to drive and that will last me a long time. Price to me seems more fair than crazy good. Any insight is appreciated.

Is this a demo unit or buying something used from dealer or an individual?

I am assuming at that price it comes with a cab?

also do you know if tires are filled or wheel weights?

does it have the tires you want?

what’s the comparable price of new in your area? (Personally having first service is a value to have done and it’s not cheap if paying a dealer)

depending on you planned uses I’d compare price to an M for Ss and Gs.

if you are happy with the difference of newish with 1st service new, time to pay the piper IMO.

Yes it does have a cab. It does come with filled tires. It has R4 tires which are good for my use. The unit was purchased by someone who came back after 45 hours and said the tractor was too small for what he needed so the dealership bought it back and sold him a bigger tractor. I believe new with same features is about $76,000-$77,000. It comes with a full warranty as if I was buying it new. It is actually a 2025 year tractor.

Doesn’t seem bad to me…could you get KTAC with buying something used? (Not sure you want that or not, but it’s good insurance)

Yes apparently I can get the Kubota Insurance. I don’t know much about the insurance, so it’s good insurance to have? I know if I use the Kubota financing I have to get either that insurance or supply my own insurance.

Yes it’s good insurance is if you need to make a claim. I’ve made multiple claim and it is by far the easiest I have ever used. It’s certainly not cheap, but I doubt most insurance is apples to apples comparable - I’d recommend to look into the coverage before comparing prices. (I have not bought it recently, but I have bought it three times😒, and previously it covered theft and damage during transport and more….it was very comprehensive, and claims have been extremely easy)

I can tell you when I have had a breakee I was so wrapped around the axle, and honestly you take a pic call the number and tell them which dealer you want to come get it and have the work done…pay the deductible and it’s taken care of…having a good dealer helps for sure, but KTAC was very convenient…which it better be for the price). Me personally I would not buy a new machine without it.

I'd say it sounds like a good deal for a very lightly used machine. Do you have any pictures of it?

I must be missing something. I come up with $68k, excluding the grapple and seat. The grapple is 4k max. Plus tax, freight, ?

Unless I'm missing something, it sounds a little high.

I would have thought there would be a little more depreciation. Does that include tax and delivery? I've never bought a new or nearly new tractor, so what do I know?
