Is there such a animal as a under belly skid plate/s?
My dealer said NO.
Do you know how many times trees/mud/etc...crap has been under that vital (sp) part of the motor? I really feel necked!!
Heavy equipment has like 70/80/100/etc... under belly plate to help with crap not to be there.
So far I could have bought a new skid plate with the $$$$ I shelled out for repairs (note, some done at home by me or my worker).
I feel dam necked under there!!!
I mean I have always been ruff with equipment, kind like boots.
Crap, piss and moan session....sorry:cool:

Go to Bro-Tek.com

They have all kinds of protective plates for tractors!

Here in Alabama, I would probably end up with a lot of debris on top of the skid plate, then have to remove it to clean it off.:D

I think one could be made, although if could get expensive if thick aluminum is used.

Something else to get in the way and slow you down. Especially if you had to make repairs under the tractor. I dont want one for the simple fact you couldent clean between the top of the skid plate and the bottom on the tractor unless you took it off. I dont want any more junk muck filth and dirt on the bottom. More likely to cause something to rust out anyway.

Without the mower deck there should be a pretty good amount of clearance down there. I go over some pretty nasty stuff that I need the 4wd with a B series, shouldn't the L should have even more.

Will, are you romping through the Bayou?

Dust..
Yeah the L does have alot of room for plates!!!! Killed my HST line cause of a fist sized tree branch....new replacement $$$$

Does land & wet lands ring a bell.... pressure washer works to clean under, not a problem there.

Did I tell you I like Hooters?

I've had to saw a few tree limbs out that got wedged up under my L3410. Bent some linkages and such, even had a limb wedge into the throttle linkage and push it wide open.

Guess it all depends on what you do with the tractor, mine has seen some serious abuse cleaning up debris behind the loggers, that is a serious mess.

I had a hooter jump on my back one time and leave claw marks!:D
