Here's a couple of very short videos of my L1500DT running, and the loader/bucket operating.
At least some of the noise in the first video is because the exhaust is contacting the FEL frame.
There are a lot of noises!

And here's a closeup of the diesel injectors. The return tube is split and leaking, and one of the injectors has a bit of blow-by. I'm hoping it's just a matter of removing the injector and renewing some o-rings.

*EDIT* - I'm aware this tractor needs some TLC! One of the things I'd appreciate some advice with is hwo to properly secure the hydraulic lines for the FEL. There doesn't seem to be anyplace for a mechanical fastening.

Sounds pretty normal to me very similar to my L185

Try not to work under a lifted loader arm in case you have a sudden hydraulic failure. You can be crushed, pinned...

Block or tie it up if you’re going to work with it raised

Forgot to say that there are copper crush washers involved in the injector mounting

Hey Kenny,

Wow it sounds pretty good, even with the crush washers on the injectors leaking even.

Congrats, looks like you are making progress, :)

I am hoping to have mine back in service this week.

Cheers

Thanks Samantha!

It's two steps forward, one back. But that's OK - it's all progress!
I've now found a badly worn tie rod end, making it impossible to drive in a straight line!
Better get that fixed before I do anything else 😂

I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of yours!
