Seatbelt Retracting?

I have a B3200 with around 550 hours. The retractable seatbelt is stubborn and won't always retract without pulling on it multiple times. It looks like the retraction mechanism is sealed and not meant to be taken apart. Has anyone been able to clean theirs well enough to fix the issue or is this just something I will need to replace?

Most likely being a safety item....you'll have to replace it.

Before replacing, I'd suggest removing the retractor, extend the belt, clean/brush thoroughly ( dawn dish soap and water) let dry.
