I just purchased a new L3560 HSTC and it has the mechanical seat. I’m trying to adjust the suspension and followed the Owner’s Manual instructions, but can’t get it to handle my weight. I weigh a little over 250 pounds and when I hit a small bump, the seat bottoms out and tries to take my fillings with it. Am I missing something or do I need to move up to the air ride seat?

If you've tightened down the setting to full max and you're still not keeping it from bottoming out, which I find odd because I'm 250's and mine will stop me dead and about 3/4 adjusted, but if it's still not enough air ride might be your next choice.
You running the tires at max inflation?

They are at max pressure and have ballast. In the morning, I will make sure that I have maxed out the turns. Thank you for replying.

Run the pressure in the rears down to about 15 psi (some would recommend 12 psi). Better ride, better traction. Rear tractor tires need to flex to work properly. Fronts, not so much. Keep them (fronts) at max pressure if you’re running a loader.

(Edited for clarity.)

Sorry but the Air ride seat is the only fix to crappy OEM K suspension seats. Grammer makes the K one just drop it in and bold it down.

I will probably end up going that way, but I need to do a little at a time in order to stay married. I just spent over 50 grand on a tractor that wasn’t really needed. Thank y’all for the input. Was hoping that there was a zip tie somewhere that I missed.

OEM seats leave a lot to be desired. I’m a big guy with big feet. Finally spaced up and tilted back the seat on the M59. 2” rise on the front and 1” on the back with 1” thick rubber blocks. Made a world of difference in comfort and position. Much kinder on the back and knees.
I’m maxed out on the spring tension. Might be a place to add some cushion rubber when bottoming out. So far not as big problem as seat position.
Do have a seat cover. Might try an extra cushion under the cover?

Spacer may work. I’ll try it

Been there and done it twice. Not looking for a third.
Bought once.....lasted 34 years.....lost 1/2 of everything.
Been renting for past 23 years.
If I had only known!

I did check and make sure I had all of the turns in the suspension handle. I was 4 short. I added them, which helped a lot, but still need more. I will deal with the tires next. Thank you!

Women come and go; a good air seat will run at least 20 years before blowing out.

I remember a thread from the past where a 1 liter emptied bottle was capped in inserted under the seat for a cushion!
