Looking for ideas for some kind of tire to run on my RTV that is a run flat design.
I need to work on clearing up around 17 acres that has a ton of honey locust trees
and just walking around I can see standard tires on my tractor or side by side wouldn't last
a day working out here.

I am in the same boat with you. I’ve been clearing an overgrown farm for the last couple years (mostly Locust, Hedge, & Cedar). My Locust trees come in 2 varieties. 1 has a long 6-8” thin thorn. The other is only 2-3” long but tapers to a really strong base, perfect for letting air out of anything. This is what I’m using in my R4s on my tractor & it works.

Foaming tires is permanent requiring you to cut off the rubber and foam or buy new wheels.

Slime is messy and gives you future options for changing rubber at a later date. I wouldn't foam my UTV tires.

That really depends on where you drive your UTV, mine is a 2002 and hardly ever goes on the pavement and still has the original tires on it(Yes, it is getting real close to needing tires). The tires have all been removed and resealed or have a tube installed due to leaks(mostly weather-checking). Just beware that foam filled tires will ride a lot rougher due to no flex within the sidewalls. I have heard that some clean the rims/tires/foam off of the rims by throwing them in a fire(DO NOT RECOMMEND). I have had the displeasure of having to clean one skid steer rim off to replace the tire(Somebody else installed the tires, had 3 of the 4 going in the same direction, then filled with foam, and then found it didn't go good in the mud). It was a couple hours using a saw and then a wire wheel to clean up the rim.
