I was looking for a side by side and found a woman at work that had a 2012 Kubota 400ci with 350 hours on it. Looks new. I bought it. Took it to the woods today for the first time to check my deer stands. There is one steep hill I have to go up. With me and my son in the RTV and in 4x4 and in low, I didnt think we were going to make it up the hill. Had it floored and just loses power right off the bat. It made it up but I was wondering if we were going to make it. Is that just the way they are? Does fine on flat ground but just seems like it runs out of power on steep hills.
By the way I am new here. First post.

I'd do a full service on it. Motor and hydraulic oils... filters.

Might just be low on hydraulic oil.

Be sure the air filter is clean also. It may just need to be ran hard for a few hours. Maybe she just rode it to church and back!:D

Check the drive belt. It could be worn and slipping with the age and miles that are on it. My bet is that it is original.

I was wondering about the belt but motor just bogs down. I think if the belt was slipping the engine would rev up.
