It will run a 7' without any problem.

I believe it would handle a 9' but you would need to be carefull on slopes and in thick grass it will probably try to pull the front of your tractor to the right. Alot of people don't like the 9' mowers anyway because they are more prone to break the cutter bar if you run them on ruff ground.

Ya I wasn't sure if it was to small or not . And I couldn't just jump in the truck that day to get it . So someone else jumped on it . So it had to been a super deal .

I run a JD 275 (Kuhn GMD700) disc mower on the back of my M7040 Cab tractor with no issues at all. Shipping weight is around 1200# but actual weight is around 1050#. It's a 9'2" cut attached mower.
