Interesting video about an Executive Order that has been signed. The problem I see, we already have the law in place, yet until the FTC does something, it doesn't matter.

I wish they'd apply that law to cellphone companies. I shouldn't be forced to upgrade my phone because an OEM decides to de-rate my battery and software for my convenience at a software update. My paid for software should't be prevented from working because of an OS update.

It's like going to get an oil change and discovering your headlights no longer work or you can no longer make left turns until you pay to upgrade your lighbulbs or add a new steering wheel spinner.

JD is just trying to do what Apple and Google and Micro$oft get to do with impunity.
