I have a L185DT that had the original AG tires front and rear. One of the rims had a large hole rusted out that would cut the inner tube. My father-in-law was able to cut out the center and weld it into the center of a 14 inch car wheel. The tire was in no better shape with a large hole in the sidewall. I honestly don't know how the tube survived at all. Found a 25x8.5 14 inch turf tire to fit and it did match the overall diameter of the AG tire that it replaced. The turf tire was on its last legs when I got it. Had several holes that were plugged. Had it out mowing and one of the plugs blew out. Was going to replace the plug but the hole is as big as my little finger. So time to ante up and get a replacement wheel and new tires. Got the wheel from Coleman Equipment in Bonner Springs,KS. The remaining AG tire is marked 6-14 Bridgestone. They ARE NOT 6.00-14. Ordered 2 new 6-14 AG tires from Miller Tire. They got here Friday and I noticed right off that the lugs were smaller. Placed the tires up against the old tire and they are about one inch shorter. Have not measured circumference yet. Anyone here have any experience replacing tires on their L185DT? I guess if I have to use these, I will just have to avoid 4X4 until I have a situation where I am spinning the rear tires.
