I was a freshman in college. Just got out of a class, was going to spend my time before my next class chilling in my dorm room. Walking down the hall I could see on tvs thru the open dorm room doors. I was only 18, didn't know anybody out there, I didn't really know how to react. I didn't panic or feel any anxiety or anything. It was just something happening on the tv. It just took a real long time to sink in.

I just started working from home. Kids had a cold so took the day off and was watching the news. When first plane hit i called my wife and said get home now. She was had just driven past the pentagon when it was hit and called me screaming and crying. Talked her home and she huddled with the kids while i packed the truck. We spent the next week at dads farm just to be safe. It took her 6 months before she could think about even trying to go into the office again.
