Rear tire spacers and weights for BX2380?

Hi all, this is my first post here. I’m thinking of adding spacers and weights to my rear tires. My driveway isn’t that steep but I came close to tipping (I’m new to having a tractor) the other day while trying to move dirt off the side of my driveway. I’ll probably add some weights or get them filled with liquid to the rears also. Any recommendations on spacer width? How about weight? How much weight does filling the tires with liquid add?

I have 2" spacers and ~100# of weight on each side I cobbled together for my BX2370. Not sure what weight fluid adds as it would depend on what you fill with, WWF, beet juice, etc.

2” spacers here also, rim guard is around 11 pounds per gallon, with each rear tire holding 9 or 10 gallons, so roughly 200 pounds.

Does anyone have a good source for wheel weights?
I also have a 60” mower deck. Not sure if that’ll effect how wide I can go with spacers.

I have bunch of wheel weights out in the garage, but I think the biggest one is 2.5 ounces.

I keep seeing these plastic cement filled weights. That just doesn’t seem like it would last on a tractor. I’d much prefer steel.

Any older garden tractor wheel weights should fit your BX as long as they are for 12” wheels. I have a set of steel weights on my BX24 that I originally made for one of my old Cub Cadets. They are 52 lbs each.

I also have 1-1/2” wheel spacers to keep the tire track width the same as the loader bucket.

On my old BX2370 I installed 2 inches spacers, would have liked 3 inch spacers but had a mid-mower deck. Also had the rear tires filled with Rimguard. Having the tires filled will get the weight closer to the ground than using tractor rim mounted weights.

I got some 2" spacers coming. That SHOULD work with my 60" mower deck. Also picked up 12 gallons of -20 wiper fluid. That should be enough weight. I plan to fill the front tires too. Do most of you do this?
Do any of you use spacers on the front wheels?

Don’t see any advantage to spacers or weight on the front axel besides more stress on the axel. It is all about the rear, space it out, and filler up, each rear tire holds 9 or 10 gallons.

What I'm hoping will be an advantage to weight, is my turns when I take off the bucket. When I'm mowing my lawn, I take off the bucket so I don't take out a tree or car in the driveway. This thing has very little frontend control with no weight in the front and doesn't turn well. I was hoping the weight in the front tires would fix that.

I can confirm that 2" spacers (on each side) will work on the BX2380 with a 60" mower deck and PTO driven grass catcher just clears the rear tires (if you have one of those as well). I put the spacers on during the winter, so not sure how much better it made it for slopes, but it seems very stable when side-hilling - I do have loaded turf tires, and I'm very glad for that, as I'm not sure it would be anywhere close to as stable without the added weight in the tires.
