Does anyone know if Kubota made more than one blade option for this deck? I am looking to see if they make both a low lift and high lift blade? I posted another thread about a B7500 with this deck running low on power mowing and in doing some research online, I found someone who had similar issues, and the cause was highlight blades using too much power. Kubota parts pages only list one part number that I can see.

IMHO Oregon blades are higher quality than oem. Perhaps consider cross referencing the blades to see what types they may offer.

+1 on that. ASC carries full line Oregon blades, low lift, high lift and Gator Mulcher blades too. They even have tungsten tipped blades for abrasive (sandy) conditions.

All you have to do really is measure the blade length, the diameter of the mounting hole, whether it's round or a broached shape, get on ASC's website and input your dimensions and the website will list the applicable blades.

Been buying my blades there for a number of years. Prices are excellent and shipping is quick. I replace my blades yearly, every spring.

While I prefer OEM parts, in this case, Oregon blades are a better alternative.

Thanks for the answers, what I am really wondering is if the original OEM spec blade is a high or low lift.

You can tell by the kick up on the trailing edge. If it has a pronounced kick up, it's high lift. If none, low lift.

Thanks I will check next week. My daughter’s high school graduation is tomorrow so I am busy getting ready for the party after.

The OM blades on Kubota 60" and 72" MMMs are not high lift.

There is no reason to expect that those on the 54" are.

BAP - best wishes for graduation. Been through that a few times...

Here’s an OEM blade for my RCK54-23BX. Again, different mower but maybe same/similar PN?
