Quick Hitch modification.

I use a quick hitch to help change the implements since I don't have much use of the left leg. The QH still allows a bit of a float which is not god using a box blade or land planner.
The mod I came up with is using a short top-link and U-shackles. Weld a shackle to the QH but drill out the threads to use a hitch pin.

Interesting idea, but I wonder about the "float." It looks like you aren't using bushings on your lower pins. With bushings, my implements only have a small fraction of an inch of movement.

The play I was trying to limit was at the top hookup. But I will take the advice of more the more experienced members and look into the bushing fix. (Submarines for 30 years don't give much experience for tractors:p )

The bottom picture shows the bushing for the top link, both sets of bushings will reduce the slop in the Implement tremendously.
