Do you know how the FEL hydraulics are powered? Is it connected to the tractor hydraulic pump or does the FEL have a separate pump and hydraulic tank?

Your tractor is supposed to be similar to a L245 so you can download an operators manual and a work shop manual here. They would like to get a doanation after you get the manuals. The WSM is in with the L185 so look closely at the listing.

I'm running a ZL2202DT-M,your hydraulic tank is your transmission case,I have a sight glass by my left foot to check the level of the fluid,I drained mine a few years back and changed the filter, one drain either side on the diff, lowest points and one or two under the belly of the transmission(mine were marked white),maybe some one replaced your fluid with gear oil instead of hydraulic fluid causing it to "seize" up at colder temps?
