Picked up a M4050

A little update on the M4050. Just got it up and running again last week. The machine shop didn't fix the head, they shipped a new head, but it took them almost 2 months. My neighbor is a diesel mechanic and has a shop repairing farm and garden tractors. He took care of all the work/repairs while I was on vacation. All told, I have a new head, glow plugs, gaskets, starter, filters and fluids. She runs smooth and strong and will be trailered to my farm tomorrow or Saturday. Tonite I am replacing the temperature sending unit and installing new battery cables. This fall I'll change the hydraulic fluid, work on the wiring, and have the steering ram rebuilt. If the weather holds out I'll be plowing a new food plot on Saturday. Here's a couple pics while the tins were going back on and finished.
