I paid less for mine locally. I found mine from a dealer near me that sells skid steer implements. I'm thinking I paid $350.

Picked up my forks from an old forklift we had at work then bought the back plate from Titan attachments for $220.

If you have a forklift company nearby may can pick up the forks for cost of scrap metal or free. The guys here were happy for me to take them so they did not have to haul them away.

I sanded, primed and painted the forks and they looked like new.

Very happy with my setup.

The $399 does not sound bad though.

May want to check out Titan Attachments just for a price comparison.

If I recall their shipping cost puts the total cost closer to other vendors who have 'Free' shipping. (Nothings free)
