Some years ago my youngest daughters father in law, who lives a couple miles down the road had a cherry fall, and said it was mine if I wanted it.

Sure I replied. I’ll just stick it in the back of my van and take it home.

Used my engine hoist to make it happen…kind of...one piece was absolute optimism!

Now a LMAO when I stumble on these photos. Did get it home after cutting it in half. LOL

Not sure of the answer for the first question. LOL. That is why it is a ROFL moment now.

BUT the van is an E350 so it probably was not abuse, although maybe working it to it limit perhaps…

like i said…Optimisum…😂

OK, why didn't you just leave the 'free end' of the log on the hoist and go ? hoist has wheels....it'd tow fine, in 1st gear of course....

I’m impressed by your van and feel sorry for it simultaneously.

I never hated any of my vehicles that much.
Some enjoying working…after 20 years now mine has not complained…aside from expecting normal maintenance…which has not been much over its nearly 180,000 mile life to date. All things considered…LOL

Henro, I swear some of the folks around here never get their tractors dirty 🤣🤣🤣

If y’all only knew what people use those e-series or transit vans for 😂 I would take one that’s been hauling wood any day. Can’t decide which ones are the worst. The medical transport vans with used pee mats under the seats?🤔 the pet shelter vans? 🤔 the chicken farm vans?🤔 the cable company vans? 🤔 (not necessarily vans, but if y’all ever been in a doordash/pizza delivery/etc vehicle you would likely go get your food yourself 🤣)

oddly enough, the prison vans are the cleanest…

You should have whiddled skiis outta the second log to act as carriers for the butt end of the first log. 😄
